An Open Letter to the Lost You.

I know you are trying to get over a mood, a feeling, something that you couldn't describe but you want to get it off your chest so badly. You probably hate yourself for sulking for no reason, you've your grades / career, you have a happy family, great friends and probably also a good significant half. But none of that equates to your happiness. What's worse is you still feel empty inside, even though there are plenty of people surrounding you.

You have never felt more alone. You've never felt your world so dark. You've never felt so lost.
I have been there. In fact, many times throughout the year.

Sometimes, darkness wins, sometimes that's okay. Just remember one thing, know you are worthy. Know your feelings matter, no matter how silly or unwarranted they may seem. Know the people in your life care about you more than you realize. Find help, I know that you don't even know how to get the words off your chest, how do you even find the right person to speak it up. If you can't speak, write, draw, anything except for staying in the darkness. The darkness doesn't have what any of us are looking for. But so often, we find ourselves lost in it.

Sometimes we are pushed into it, but sometimes, we hide there for comfort. Whatever it is, just remember that you are worthy. The world is a better place because of your existence. You are loved and you matter. You will get through this. I promise.

With Love,
Someone who's been through this.
