What I learned in 2015

As we stepped into the New Year, we usually think back on those little things that we've learned throughout the year and continue to improve in ourselves for a better year ahead. Here's 6 Things Learned in 2015.

          1. Let it Go
You might have played the Demi Lovato song again and again, yet when it comes to letting it go, it just seems like an impossible task. But don't worry when you do, you'll realized you've been holding on to something so grey that you've missed out those little happiness in you. Here are three very important little words to keep in mind. Pick.Your.Battles. Some things are just not worth holding on. Do it for the sake of your happiness.

          2. Move that Butt!
Get off the couch! Go for a walk, a run, a short getaway; going out to nature can help reduce your stress! Even if you don't want to go far, at least look out the window up to the sky and see the ever changing colours of heaven.

          3. Say "Thank You" (And Mean it)
Though not intentionally, it's fairly easy to take for granted everything people do around us. Probably is that cup of coffee that's on the table for you every morning, or that clean clothes you are wearing, we often overlook those little things that our loved ones has done for us. A simple "thank you" can mean the world, no matter how small the gesture may be.

          4. Put that Damn Phone Away
Yes, we're all guilty of scrolling through Facebook while eating, or hogging on "important" messages while you're together. Whether you're with your friends or family, having the chance to meet up or have dinner is really a chance to communicate with each other. So value the relationship that is happening. Trust me, you'll enjoy the meal and communication hundred times better without the phone.

          5. Text Messaging less
The thing about the world and human relationship now is that we communicate lesser and lesser without contact. We discussed important things through e-mails, text messaging and etc, but less of face to face. What's worse is that often text messaging are being interpreted wrongly and ended up in fights. Get on to the real world, human being aren't as scary as we thought.

          6. Say "I Love Life" as much as you can
Just like how we like to hear "I love you" from our loved ones, life would also like to hear "I love life too". It never gets old, it never gets stale, and one thing you don't know is that slowly you will find out that your life would get better and better without your expectation. It's a small gesture, but sure it's one of the greatest thing that was repeated in-mind throughout 2015!

Make it a goal, to make it your best year yet for 2016! Happy New Year!
