From the movies, we know that these people didn't become superheroes overnight (except the one bitten by spider, or hit by storm, or exploded from outerspace). Yet, one thing they have in common is they all went through some hard times. And it was those hard times that gave them something to fight for. They could either choose to get up and do something when things didn't go their way, or sit down and let it happen. We never hear about the guy who sat down and let it happen.
It's true that we all live in this real world, where the spider bites, it itches or you need to go to the doctor. You might be thinking, I would never be like those people - they're heroes, and I'm just plain old me. Anyone who has braved a storm in life and emerged victorious on the other side is a real-life superhero. We love superheroes because of the strength they show in times of trouble, and how they inspire us to do the same. Whether or not we have the power, the courage stays the same.
There's no doubt that someone in your life has shown their powers in a hard time. Just make sure you fight them like how the superheroes fought up to where they are. Remember what they say, "With greater power comes greater responsibility".
